Our latest Newsletter for this Easter 2019

We had a great Easter this year, busy as usual, but even more so on our Easter Sunday service. We had a packed church due to Colleen and Mark's friends and family joining us for their blessing, it made it a truly special day for us at FOS congregational church. We were truly blessed and honoured to be remembered by Colleen and Mark to do their blessing for them. Beve sang Ave Maria for them as she had done for their wedding 29 years ago and she smashed it, really well done Beve. Scilla took the blessing and did it beautifully, Trevor took our Easter service and got us all thinking about what it means to be a Christian during

Easter. Inside our eggs we should find the cross, which Jesus was crucified on, the nails, which He was nailed to the cross with, a stone to represent the tomb stone that was rolled in front of the tomb where Jesus's body lay, and emptiness, to represent Jesus leaving the tomb after His resurrection. What was inside your Easter egg?
